蒋子龙，当代著名作家。现任中国作家协会副会长、天津市作家协会主席。 1965年发表第一个短篇小说《新站长》。善于写工业题材。短篇小说《乔厂长上任记》、《一个工厂秘书的日记》、《拜年》，中篇小说《开拓者》、《赤橙黄绿青蓝紫》、《阴错阳差》均在全国获奖。作者还著有长篇小说《蛇神》、《子午流星》，《蒋子龙选集》(3卷)，中篇小说《锅碗瓢盆交响曲》，短篇小说《三个起重工》，《蒋子龙文集》（8卷）等。
